Several years ago my niece and nephew-in-law were willed a fortune in property and money. Being very giving and sharing people they arranged a stellar vacation for myself, my children and grandchildren to Universal Studios Florida. We were treated to 5 star hotel accomodations, excellent food and 2 full days of unbelievable fun at Universal. Our rooms were at a beautiful italian styled hotel on the water. Room service was heavenly! Not being accustomed to such lavish treatment, I was in awe of how the "uppercrust" live! However, the most joy I had was seeing the excitement and happiness of my grandchildren experiencing all the wonders of Universal. My niece spared no expense in making this vacation one that we would never forget. Since patience is not exactly one of my virtues, I loved having the express passes that allowed us to get through the lines smoothly and quickly. So...more time equals more fun! Universal is a wonderful vacation venue for families there is something for everyone. What a wonderful place to be with family and make memories!

Last summer I decided to tour Spain in a motorhome, and I rented a motorhome and traveled from Madrid to Seville. The motorhome was comfortable and easy to drive, with comfortable roads throughout the country. It was easy and cheap looking and camping in the thousands of campsites that are dotted throughout the entire Spanish territory. I travelled from Seville to Barcelona on a three day trip in which I made a stop in Valencia where I visited some old friends. Throughout the RV trip there wasn't anything I needed that the motorhome couldn't give me - everything I could have from within the motorhome itself, making this whole trip self-sufficient. The motorhome holiday lasted a week and was one of the most wonderful trips I've ever experienced. I want to repeat this experience and will try to travel around Europe by motorhome again - perhaps I'll go to Bavaria next time. |
